BOUCHARA RECORDATI |
The Bouchara Recordati company is a subsidiary of the Italian group Recordati. The Head Office is at Levallois-Perret and the pharmaceutical manufacturing works is at Saint-Victor near Montluçon in the Allier administrative district. Formerly known under the name of Doms Adrian, Recordati took over the latter in 1999 and continued its development by purchasing the laboratories of Dr Emile Bouchara in 2000. After merging the two French subsidiaries, Bouchara Recordati France, a 100% owned subsidiary of the Recordati group, came into being in 2001. Bouchara Recordati, which specialises in the cardiovascular, respiratory and gynaecological treatments, now has a workforce of about 400 people, 70 of them on its manufacturing site, and a turnover of 115 million euros. The manufacturing site specialises in the manufacture of dry and liquid formulations with an annual production of about 240 million units manufactured and 12 million units packaged. The main products manufactured on the site are the Zanidip® (antihypertensive), Hexaspray® (ENT collutorium), Hexalyse® (ENT treatment) and Abufene® (treatment of menopausal hot flushes). |
